The theme is Pre-XIII Lightning.

Pretty "flat" theme I'd say. Lightning had a lot of interesting moments worthy depicting...so my head was totally crazy...I had so many ideas from optimistic to tragical...I made a compromise between Light learning violin as a kid and Light as a soldier rookie.

I tried to somehow depict how lonely she must have been...losing a lot so she was healing herself through best way - art...I didn't want to be overdramatic with her emotion, because girl usually tried to hide them as much as possible...

Oh yeah...some mistakes again but I must say considering this was one of my quickest drawing (I didn't know about contest extension) - it's not that bad...and sorry for the messed up violin - my first time drawing this amazing instrument...special how many ppl imagine her with a violin...everytime I have fav character I join her sooner or later with some instrument...both piano and guitar didn't fit her that much as violin (I blame Vanessa May's Storm version for that )
